I am a graduate of The University of Chicago (B.A. Mathematics, 1982), Wayne State University (M.A., Mathematics, 1984), and Wayne State University School of Medicine (M.D., 1993). I completed my psychiatry residency at Johns Hopkins in 1997 and completed a neuro-imaging fellowship at Johns Hopkins in 1998. I joined the full-time faculty at this institution as an assistant professor in 1998. In 2003, I opened a private psychiatry practice and switched my faculty status at Johns Hopkins to part-time.
